Called the most blue city in the world, Chefchaouen is a riot of sky blue, sapphire blue and all hues of blue color. Considered the most beautiful city in Morocco, walls of its buildings painted in various shades of blue. In fact, whole streets of the old city – painted light blue, sapphire, navy blue, and violet colors create an atmosphere of a fairy tale. Meanwhile, the tradition of painting the walls was due to the refugee Jews who came to Morocco in the 1930s. They painted doors, windows, walls in the old city in a sacred for the Jews color, which always reminds them of heaven and God.

Artistic Association “Blue Rider” – one of the most stellar and rapid, bold and short-lived in the XX century. It existed only 3 years (1911 – 1914). Initially with enthusiastic whisper, and later in a loud voice, talked about the synthesis of all the arts and non-objective paintings. Here talked about the value of the painting of crazy and children, about colors and shapes, self-sufficiency and spiritual content of painting. Meanwhile, it united the unique versatile artists working equally brilliantly with brush and pen. Besides, the best representatives of the “new art” wrote revolutionary almanac “Blue Rider”, and without requiring fees and promotions.
Recalling the three years before the First World War, Kandinsky said: “The Blue Rider” is the two of us, Franz Marc and me.”

Johann Konstantin Schultz, the head of the first Viennese Union of rabbit breeders is considered the author of this magnificent breed Viennese Blue Rabbit. Viennese blue rabbit was bred in Vienna Manor in 1895. It was a reproductive crossing of Moravian rabbits of pure blue color with breed of Flandres rabbits. The best representatives of the new breed in 1903 were taken to Switzerland, Holland and Germany. Viennese blue rabbit has a strong constitution and a harmonious body. Wool is smooth and thick, with a glossy gleam. Arista and underfur usually evenly colored, with the lighter hair at the base. Downy hair is much lighter and presents in Vienna rabbits in large quantities. Rabbits are born with gray fur, which, after the second molt acquires gray-blue color. During the summer, may appear brown hue fading with the approach of winter. Since the Vienna rabbits are very calm and friendly, people keep them as pets.

The wing coverts have different shades of blue and the median coverts have white spots at their tips. And the yellow beak stands in contrast. In addition, the inner webs of the flight and tail feathers are black.
