Entrance Door Color According to Feng Shui
What color is the best for the front door? First of all, a good color is a color that combines and resonates with the design and color of the house, as well as its surroundings. But such a thing as “the best color” does not exist at all! However, some books and feng shui teachings say that the favorable color for the entrance door is red. In fact, this concept stems from the Chinese tradition.
In ancient China, there were very strict rules regarding homes: people could build houses with various rooms, but the color of the door needed to be made of a certain color. In fact, the color of doors should be in accordance with the position of a person in society and the position held in the government. In particular, most people were forbidden to have red doors. Red color denoted the status of the nobility. Therefore, the red door, perceived as wealthy and noble, meant that behind this door lived rich people.
However, this is a cultural value, not a universal one. Accordingly, if something is not universally true, it is not feng shui.

Choosing wedding color palette
One of the first decisions in preparing for a wedding is the choice of its color. All the details of the wedding decor should harmoniously blend, creating a general holiday atmosphere. Meanwhile, there are several basic rules for choosing a color solution. First, when choosing the color of a wedding, it is worth taking into account the time of the year. There are colors that are associated with each of them or perfectly fit into the landscape. Bright pink and orange in the wedding palette, for example, are more suitable for organizing a winter wedding. Indeed, these colors look very harmonious against the background of gray skies and white snow. But in the spring you should pay attention to the pastel colors. Nature wakes up, and tenderness is in the air.
However, the main is a competent accent setting, because overdone with shades is very easy. Then the whole ceremony will look, at least, strangely and excessively colorfully. In addition, the color of the wedding depends on its theme. In particular, the wedding in the Asian style involves the use of red, green, brown or gold. Indeed, it is difficult to imagine a bridal luxurious oriental tale without bright, rich flowers and a large tent. But a refined wedding in the style of Tiffany – it’s blue, turquoise and mint in a combination of black or chocolate.

Chamarel wonderful Seven-Color Earths

French Terres des Sept Couleurs, known as Seven-colored sand, is a formation and a famous tourist attraction located in the south-west of Mauritius, near the village of Chamarel. Occupied by sand dunes, this small area consists of sand of seven different colors (red, brown, purple, green, blue, purple and yellow). Noteworthy, the sands of these colors randomly located in different layers, and dunes, painted in different colors, seem surreal. Meanwhile, this phenomenon is also on a small scale. For instance, if you mix two handfuls of different shades, eventually they will still be divided according to the color spectrum. Also noteworthy that the dunes are not subject to erosion despite the torrential tropical rains of Mauritius.

The sands formed from basalt (effusive rock) into clay, which then turned into ferralite soil due to complete hydrolysis. Aluminum and iron, the two main components, give the blue-purplish and red-black color, respectively. According to researchers, the difference in shades is a consequence of the cooling of molten volcanic rocks at different external temperatures. However, it is still not clear why they did not mix.

Bright Colors of Multicultural Singapore
According to the British proverb, on the other side of the street the grass seems greener. And this is quite true, if we talk about Singapore. The colors of Singapore make a strong impression. If you look closely, in many countries, gray colors predominate. Rarely when very bright and saturated. The thing is that bright colors mix with dust in dry weather and dirt in the wet. There is a colossal difference when you see real green, red and other colors in their natural form, in absolutely pure conditions. Here, for example, a street in Singapore (photo below). This is very interesting, because, for example, in Thailand, too, is always warm, but for some reason there are no bright colors. The grass is yellow, faded, etc. And in Singapore, if it’s grass, it’s certainly bright green.
